Clawson Medical-Legal Consulting
Well known for his educational programs, public policy advocacy,
and consulting services since 1994, Bill Clawson, PhD, DipN, RN, CLNC
(certified legal nurse consultant) provides a much needed service for attorneys,
helping them to evaluate medically-related cases. With over 30 years of
professional experience in health care, including critical care, health care
administration, and assisted living (residential care), Bill and his team are
strategically positioned to cost-effectively and efficiently help both plaintiff
and defense attorneys screen cases for merit, locate expert witnesses
throughout the United States and Canada, and prepare for discovery and
trial as needed. Insurance companies, medical and assisted living organizations,
government agencies, and individual business owners are also frequent clients.
Although there are several thousand legal nurse consultants in the
United States and Canada, Bill is currently 1 of only 2 CLNC experts that
specialize in assisted living and residential care in California; and one of less
than a dozen such experts nation-wide in this long term care specialty.
A retired Naval Commander, Bill’s clinical and administrative experience
includes practice at several of the nation’s largest civilian and military
teaching hospitals, including Bethesda Naval Medical Center, Washington,
D.C., Stanford University School of Medicine, and Barnes Hospital of
Washington University, St. Louis. Additionally, he has been a featured
speaker at several national assisted living conferences. This extensive
experience uniquely prepares Bill to quickly and decisively get to the heart
of a wide variety of cases, from personal injury to medical malpractice, and
even criminal cases.
Bill received his CLNC certification after completing a rigorous course
of study from the Vickie Milazzo Institute. This is the nation’s first, oldest
and largest accredited legal nurse consulting and education organization.
Widely recognized by attorneys, the CLNC certification is the official certification
of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. As an active
member of this alliance, Bill has access to a nationwide network of over 6,000
health care colleagues who can provide additional expertise often required in
today’s complex medical litigation.
We are here and ready to serve, saving you time and making you money!
